A Web Browser is launched, but indicates "Proxy configuration failed" or displays a similar error page.
If you have any firewall or antivirus software running on the same workstation as is being used for recording, disable the firewall software and attempt recording again.
If, after disabling the workstation's firewall software, the browser
continues to display the same error message when attempting to record
a testcase, it will be necessary to manually configure the browser for
use with the recording process. Please see the Manual
Browser Configuration page for more details.
If, after manually configuring the browser for recording and disabling
any firewall software on the workstation, the same error message is still
displayed in the browser, please contact support and a technician will be
able to examine this problem in
further detail. Please be sure to select the option to "Attach system
configuration summary" and list any firewall, antivirus or other
security applications that may be installed on the system.
